Tuneki

Terms of Service

We know nobody loves reading legal terms. Here's the human version: be cool, don't try to break or steal our app, and we'll do our best to make Tuneki awesome for you.

The Basics

When you download Tuneki from the App Store, you're agreeing to these terms. If that doesn't work for you, please don't use the app. We'd love to have you, but we understand if it's not a fit.

Apple's Rules Apply Too

Since Tuneki comes from the App Store, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies. It's worth a skim—basically it says you're licensing the app, not buying it outright, and Apple has rules about what you can do with apps from their store.

What You Can Do

You're free to use Tuneki for your personal music practice. Install it on your iPhone or iPad, practice as much as you want, share decks with friends, compete on leaderboards—go wild! As long as it's for your own use and you're not doing anything sketchy, you're good.

What You Can't Do

Please don't:

  • Try to copy or steal our app — We put a lot of work into this. Don't reverse engineer it, decompile it, or try to extract the code.
  • Resell or redistribute it — If your friends want Tuneki, send them to the App Store. Don't try to pass it along yourself.
  • Use it for anything illegal — This should go without saying, but using Tuneki to break laws is a no-go.
  • Mess with the app's security — Don't try to hack it, break it, or exploit vulnerabilities. If you find a bug, please tell us so we can fix it!

Basically: use it as intended, and we'll all be happy.

No Promises (The Legal Part)

We work hard to make Tuneki reliable and useful, but like all software, it's not perfect. We provide the app "as is," meaning:

  • We can't guarantee it'll work flawlessly 100% of the time
  • We can't promise it'll be bug-free (but we'll fix bugs when we find them)
  • We're not responsible if something goes wrong with your device

That said, if you run into problems, please let us know through the App Store. We genuinely want to help.

Keeping Things Fair

Here's the legal truth: if something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app (which might be nothing if you're using the free version). We're not responsible for indirect problems like lost practice time or missed gigs. This isn't because we don't care—it's just how software licensing works legally.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to Tuneki Premium, your subscription is handled through the App Store. You can cancel anytime in your iPhone's settings (Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions). Canceling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current period—you'll keep access until the subscription period ends.

We Might Update These Terms

If we need to change these terms (maybe we add new features or lawyers tell us to clarify something), we'll post the updated version here with a new date. We'll also let you know in the app if it's a big change. Using the app after updates means you're okay with the new terms.

Questions or Concerns?

Confused about something? Not sure if your use case is cool? Reach out through the App Store and we'll do our best to help. We're musicians and developers, not lawyers trying to intimidate you—we just want everyone to have a good experience.
